Getting to the Studio
Google Maps:
Enter 10302 SE Main St 97222
(Be sure to include the ZIP code—there is more than one “Main Street” in the Portland postal system.)
Parking
Free street parking is widely available.
Free public parking lots are also available along Main Street, including a large public lot located between Main Street and the studio building.
Important:
Access this public lot from Main Street, not from the driveway that serves the studio and the adjacent apartment building (Henley Place Apartments).
Locals may recognize this lot as the former site of Pietro’s Pizza (now demolished).
🚫 Do not park in the spaces along the apartment entrance driveway—these are reserved.
Walking to the Studio
From the driveway, walk toward the apartment building at 10306 SE Main Street.
When facing the Henley Place apartment building, the studio is the third door to the left of the large garage door.
The studio’s entrance has 10302 clearly marked above the door.
Weather
This is Oregon—please plan for rain so your look stays dry during the short walk from parking to the studio.
A Note About the Grass
Please stay on the paved walkways in front of the building and avoid stepping on the grass. The grass frequently collects dog waste, some of which may not be immediately visible.
Arrival Timing
As a courtesy to the session before yours, please arrive on time rather than early.
If you do arrive a bit early, the following nearby spots (2–3 minutes on foot) are comfortable places to wait:
Wind Horse Coffee — 10611 SE Main St
Keeper Coffee — 10722 SE Main St
Milwaukie Ledding Public Library — 10660 SE 21st Ave
A Few Helpful Notes Before Your Session
A private dressing room and restroom are available.
Cell phone reception inside the studio is limited.
If the subject is a minor, a parent or legal guardian should be present.
You’re welcome to bring someone with you—please let the photographer know in advance.
(Most subjects find they are more relaxed and photograph best when attending on their own.)
