Portland’s #1 Rated Headshot Studio
Executive Lens is voted Portland’s top headshot studio (2025 & 2026), and the only studio to earn A+ ratings in any, let alone all four categories of the review criteria:
Skill
Experience
Service
Value
Executive Lens is Portland’s only Certified Platinum Associate studio in Peter Hurley’s Headshot Crew (2023 to 2026).
Peter Hurley’s Headshot Crew is widely recognized as the leading professional headshot training and certification organization (Google “best headshot photographer in the world”.) Platinum Associate status reflects advanced demonstrated skill, continued education, and sustained professional excellence at the highest level of the headshot industry.
Fewer than one percent of photographers pursue this level of years’ long intensive training and certification, and only a few of those achieve full Associate recognition.

High-Quality. Authentic. State-of-the-art equipment. Trusted by Portland’s best professionals and teams.
… and hundreds more
Genuine You. Subtle Retouching.
State-of-the-art studio lighting and thoughtful camera angles make the biggest difference in a professional portrait. Our studio lighting is designed to create flattering, natural-looking images straight out of the camera, so most clients need little or no editing.
If desired, we include complimentary subtle refinements that maintain a natural appearance. These may include gentle teeth whitening, evening of skin tones, reducing blemishes, softening under-eye circles, and diminishing the appearance of a double chin.
Our philosophy is simple: you should still look like you. The goal is to present you at your best while keeping your image authentic and credible.
Real photography. Real authorship. Real rights.
Because these are genuine photographic captures of you, rather than AI-generated, your images are eligible for copyright protection and are not freely usable by others. For many of our clients, this is not optional. It’s essential.
As public concerns around AI-generated imagery continue to grow, companies and recruiters are increasingly expecting assurance that professional images are authentic photographs. In response, more professionals are turning to Executive Lens for portraits they can confidently use across corporate, professional, LinkedIn, and other public-facing environments.
We work with clients who expect nothing less than authentic, high-quality images that accurately represent who they are. We provide optimal lighting, gentle retouching and expression coaching so that you have flattering images of the real you.
For those who prefer an even more refined finish, advanced high-end retouching services are also available.
Don’t delay. There will never be a better time to capture images of yourself.

Reviews
“DJ, you have a gift...a series of gifts, actually, that allows you to produce such fine work. You have a deep technical understanding of your craft. You listen to understand. You employ humorous patter to help everyone relax into the process. You have a practiced eye that only comes with years of experience. At the end of the day, five individuals walked away with wonderful images. Thank you so much for making this shoot such a pleasurable experience.”
“I really appreciated my Executive Lens session with DJ. I signed up because looking at the pictures on his site, I was taken with the striking beauty and power in each one. I was a little nervous going in and he guided me in very detailed ways that helped me get the hang of it quickly and I was comfortable in front of the camera. My ease came in part as DJ is easy to talk to and seemingly low key while he’s managing a lot of detail. The images came out so natural. Only a seasoned professional and artist can do what DJ does. Thank you and I wish you the best in serving many others who for whatever reason need to show themselves to the world.”
