“But I hate having my photo taken”

Dear Valued Customer,

I fully understand that the idea of having your picture taken can sometimes feel daunting. Beyond the camera lens, the thought of posing or being asked to express in ways that don't feel natural to you—like smiling broadly or, for some, showing teeth—can add to the discomfort. I want to assure you, that's not what your experience will be like with me. If I do capture an image that you aren’t comfortable with, simply delete it with one keystroke. You’re always in control of the shoot and images. I’m just there to photograph and offer coaching tips for your consideration.

Also you tell me what you would like to take out, or leave in, in terms of retouching. Maybe it’s a mole or wrinkles that you want gone or softened. Likewise with blemishes, shedding a few pounds, yellow teeth, chipped tooth, chapped lips, etc. The list goes on. Combing your hair, shaving and wearing a clean shirt? Well, that’s on you to do. And we can talk ahead about makeup, hair and what to wear to your session.

Here at my studio, the focus is on creating an experience that's not just bearable, but genuinely enjoyable. My approach is tailored to ensure you feel relaxed and confident throughout our session. It's not merely about taking photos; it's about capturing you in a way that showcases your genuine expressions. If you can simply stand there and join into a conversation with me, you will take home some true headshot treasures.

The transformation I see in my clients is nothing short of remarkable. Many arrive with reservations but leave amazed by how pleasant and fun the experience was. The feedback that truly warms my heart is when all of my clients struggle to choose their images because they love so many of them!

I'm here to help you see the confidence in your headshots and to discover the joy in the process. Let's turn any apprehension into a positive, memorable experience, and show you just how photogenic you truly are.

Warmest regards,

DJ Bornemeier, Photographer
